Closed cell sponge rubber extrusion
Pro-Flex Rubber now meets the needs of many industries with its closed-cell foam sponge profiles. These provide better compression rates and flexibility when needed. Compression is the ability of an elastomer to return to its original shape after being manipulated by physical objects and pressure.
This type of rubber offers a wide variety of features that may be suitable for many shock absorbing, anti-vibration, sealing and insulating applications.
Sponge rubber is a material that offers flexibility and weather resistance at elevated temperatures.
Available densities
Densities may vary from 0.25 à 0.95 G/CM3 and are available in EPDM, NITRILE, AND CHLOROPRENE elastomere types.

Silicone extrusion
Silicone is an extremely versatile material with useful properties:
- extremely strong when combined with ozone (both in gaseous and liquid forms)
- excellent resistance to UV and oxidation
- remains flexible at low temperatures as low as -160°C
- resistant to extreme temperature fluctuations
- excellent electrical insulation
- low strain rate
Silicone is the best material for products that must retain their effectiveness and performance under a range of varying temperatures.

Compact and Sponge Rubber compound extrusion
Our Davis Standard extrusion equipment features a 2.5-inch feed screw and a 60-foot line of hot-air convection ovens. Pro-Flex Rubber manufactures extrusion dies within three business days. Our high supply of raw materials enables fast production with some of the shortest lead times on the market.
Silicone compound extrusion
Pro-Flex Rubber manufactures custom profiles using more than 20 different types of silicone to meet various specifications, including resistance to fire, smoke, and toxicity, as well as UL and FDA standards.
