VIA Rail—Renaissance railway cars
In 2008, Pro-Flex Rubber was mandated to completely reegineer the accordion diaphragms used on VIA Rail’s Renaissance railway cars. The original diaphragms were designed and manufactured in England.
To date, Pro-Flex Rubber has manufactured more than 200 units to update the fleet of railway cars. Each membrane is moulded using a special material free of halogenated compounds.
